First, I'll start off with the easiest palette- The Jaclynm Hill Morphe Palette. All you need to know is... you need to have this palette. My husband was so nice to grab this one for me after I was telling him all about Jaclyn Hill and how she is the superhero of the makeup world, haha. The colors on this beauty are amazing, ranging from matte to sparkle goodness. Jaclyn really did put her whole heart into this palette and made sure she covered her most favorite colors and added some bursts of greens and blue as well.
One of my favorite shades is the Hillster shade. This shade is very familiar to that of MAC's brownscript. Love this shade for a smokey eye with a red lip. All of the colors are buttery, and so pigmented. They apply very creamy and are long lasting. You can't go wrong with this palette.
The next palette I've been dabbling into is the Golden State of Mind by ColourPop. I have mixed feeling on this one only because the shades tend to look very different after you actually apply them, compared to how they look while in the palette. SO, you really should swatch them before you simply apply them to your makeup look because the color may not look like what you first thought. I love how bright they are and pigmented too. If you want to add sparkle or glitter look to your eye this is a good palette to have at a very good price. Pay the Piper and unsupervised were my two favorites.
Last Palette I wanted to talk about is the Colourpop My Little Pony Shadow palette. Ok, if you are my age, these My Little Ponies are the real deal! The new ones are nothing like the original. When I saw this palette, I said I was going to get it because I my little girl would like it , but the truth is, I was excited to have this for myself. Judge me if you must. Anyways, It took me a few days to swatch it because I honestly just thought the colors might not do much for me but I was pleasantly surprised! The entire middle row: Applejack, Skydancer, Minty and Flutterbye are so beautiful . Princess Sparkle and Blossom will make for some beautiful pigmented looks. One color I didn't care for was Butterscotch because it seemed patchy when I applied it on my arm. I was trying to upload a picture of the swatches but for some reason it is not working. I'll upload later. Do you need this palette? maybe not but it is fun to have for me and my ballerina. I told her she can use it for her ballet recitals but I cant wait to try some looks with it.
